Environments

We provide a sandbox environment for testing in a safe environment and a production environment.

The sandbox environment is for building and testing integrations. It is the same as production with some limitations (not a full list):

  • No actual payments or transactions are made.
  • It is only possible to sign in with MitID test users.
  • Email is only sent to whitelisted emails.
  • SMS is only sent to whitelisted phone numbers.

MitID Test users​

The sandbox uses the MitID test environment, so MitID test users also work in our sandbox. Create test users with the MitID test tool.

Vipps test payments​

To complete a Vipps payment in the sandbox, you need the test version of the Vipps MobilePay app for iOS or Android. See how to install the Vipps MobilePay test app.

Once the app is installed, you can use the following test user to complete a payment:

  • Phone number: +45 45894021
  • CPR number: 110921-5841
  • Verification code: 1236
